Paul Matthews Dip Arch RIBA - Architect/Project Manager
Mr. Paul Matthews is a British architect with 27 years
professional experience worldwide. Paul had his own practice in
the Turks & Caicos Islands, is formally an Associate Partner
with Graham Seabrook Partnership in the UK until taking up the
post within Project Management of Flamingo Crossing. Other
buildings in the TCI where Paul was involved in the design
include several local commercial plazas, developments and
numerous homes. Paul is currently involved in commercial,
industrial, education and leisure projects in the UK and Eastern
Europe. A member of the Royal Institute of British Architects
and former member of the Turks & Caicos Society of Architects,
Surveyors and Engineers, Paul gained his professional
qualifications at Westminster University Polytechnic of Central
London. Paul's versatile skills and wide experience in many
building types and projects is an asset to the Flamingo Crossing
development team.
Construction Team
The Carib Club Construction Team consists of General Contractor Paradise Design & Build Ltd who have entered into a joint venture with its principal contractors Coral Reef Construction & Development Co Ltd and Swannson's International Builders & Developers. Island Plumbing & Construction Co Ltd has been appointed as the MEP Services Sub-contractor. All members of the construction team are qualified by professional degrees and construction experience on some of the premier resort, condo and residential properties in Providenciales.
Flamingo Crossing Ltd - Developer
Flamingo Crossing Ltd is an ordinary TCI company set up for the purpose of investment into the Flamingo Crossing project and for directing finance and development of the project for the land-owners under contract with and through the close assistance of licensed corporate management services firm Paradise Corporate Services Ltd. and attorneys Duncanson & Co. The face of the developer company is local attorney Mr. Beryn Duncanson, marketing manager Ms. Debbie Alpi and architect/project manager Mr. Paul Matthews. Beryn has represented numerous clients in resort and residential developments throughout the Turks and Caicos Islands (see his bio below). Ms. Debbie Alpi brings over 20 plus years of marketing experience from the U.S and abroad to her post of Marketing Manager for Flamingo Crossing Ltd. Her vast experience includes marketing, advertising, promotion, public relations in a number of various markets and industries such as major market radio (Boston, New York & Chicago), television, cable, night club, yacht & country club and telecommunications industries as well as real estate development.

Mr.
Beryn Duncanson is the principal of Duncanson & Co., established
in 1999. The law firm is the first ongoing 100% Belonger-owned
law practice in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Beryn has
represented multi-national clients in all aspects of local land
development and in other property matters concerning property,
not only locally but around the world. The range has extended
from matters concerning conveyance of property and the
development of luxury residential subdivisions, condominium and
private island resort development in the Turks and Caicos
Islands , to receivership in TCI Supreme Court of a golf course
with course-side luxury home development in Shanghai Pudong
Peninsula in China . Beryn brings those experiences and skills
to the Flamingo Crossing development team.
Creative Design -
Furnishings
The
project decorator for Flamingo Crossing's furnishings is Mrs.
Stephanie Duncanson who has over 35 years experience in
decorating homes and hotels in the Bahamas and now in the Turks
and Caicos Islands . Stephanie obtained her diploma in
Decorating in the United States from Cooper School of Art -
Cleveland , Ohio in 1977. Over the course of her career in the
Bahamas she was comm iss ioned on many occasions to decorate
very substantial homes and some of the hotels she has done
include The Old Emerald Beach Hotel in the Bahamas and Pilot
House and the Governor's resident in Grand Turk , Turks & Caicos
